Travis and his entire team are a great group of people. Very personable. Each time, I've gone to them for service, they've been upfront about all services needed, the turnaround time, and the pricing. No hidden charges at checkout. They even offer great coupons online.I feel very comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. The staff at Carfix went above and beyond to help me even though I was only in for an oil change and was barely spending any money. I received the same level of attention and service that one would expect from any luxury dealership. Extremely straightforward about issues with Dodge Ram 1500, prioritized work to be done to get me back on the road and back to work. Prices for services few bucks less than estimate given by dealership which is always good plus I didn't have to wait 8 days for the repair. Parts in stock amd had truck back a day earlier than promised. Appreciate the technician/mechanics advice about what's next to maintain truck and the awesome front desk staff who called and texted me with updates and numbers. Could've had it done cheaper but glad we came here for their expertise and especially the warrant I couldn't get from my buddy. Thanks Carfix.

My wife was traveling from out of town and had car trouble. We called the closest auto repair shop which ended up being this one and had a great experience. Kit was extremely courteous and offered to do a FREE diagnostic on our vehicle immediately! Full disclosure: we decided to do the repair at our local mechanic due to logistics, but I would have no issues having my car repaired here due to the excellent service we received.

I've gone to Carfix ever since I moved to the area and I haven't regretted it. Great service, reasonable prices, and whenever I ask for an explanation of the work they're recommending they explain in plain terms. On my last visit, I spoke with Kit and Ron and they were friendly and fit me in on short notice. When I remembered I needed to get an inspection for the year they were able to add another repair I needed and the inspection on for me.

I was very happy the job Carfix did replacing my spark plugs and checking my motor system for any issues. They were prompt and fairly priced. The car is running great now. I will go to them again in the future. Very happy with the job they did.

Brought my Audi A6 in for an oil change and service. I received exceptional service from Kit and Ron. In addition to the oil change I needed additional services provided. They were very flexible in scheduling that around my needs. They were very transparent in pricing and in giving me alternative options. They also arranged for Uber rides to and from my home while service was being done. Their pricing is extremely competitive compared to the Audi dealership. I can highly recommend CarFix for anyone else and will most certainly be bringing my car here for future care!

Front axil seals were leaking on all wheel drive vehicle, another shop gave a price more than double carfix. They were not only fair priced but I had my car back that afternoon. It is easy to se why they have 5 star ratings.

Been coming to the original location for almost a decade. Started coming to this Raleigh location the last couple years. They have vast experience with different types of vehicles. They done my C5 Corvette all the way to my wife's Honda Odyssey. What makes Carfix different is they are locally owned and operated. They have great staff especially Ron and Kit at the counter. You get a list of the work that needs to be done via text and decide what you want them to work on. Because they have your history you can just come back for future work/maintenance. Carfix has more of a personal touch versus a dealership and they listen.

I'm thankful I selected CarFix Auto from my Google search choices. What drew me to them was the number of years of experience and the numerous good reviews. They weren't wrong! Ron and Kit were beyond GREAT! It's like going to a restaurant and being greeted by a sour hostess. The experience has taken a negative bump. These guys are friendly as soon as you walk through the door and talk to you (me being a woman 😀) in terms I could understand about my car so I could make an educated decision. These guys will give you a fair deal. I brought my car in for an inspection because my check engine light had been going on and off. They did a full inspection on the vehicle. When no issues with the engine were found, they gave me a full vehicle inspection report and did not charge me since no maintenance was required.

Just moved to NC from out of state and needed somewhere to take my car for a routine oil change & tire rotation. An exhaust shield also needed to be replaced. The original car dealership struck out three times on trying to replace/order the part correctly... the Carfix crew simply used a large washer to re-install the original shield that had fallen off (HEY!). Took a little longer than I expected but Kit took care of me and overall I had a solid experience.

I have always had an excellent experience with CarFix. While out of town, I needed a part replaced that was under their warranty. They coordinated with a local shop to order and install the part, keeping me updated throughout the process. This location has Superb customer service each and every time I step through the door greeted with the same energy, smiles ,laughs and outstanding performance on cars. Very detailed for a woman to understand in breakdown a problem to a car( gerber). The person that locked me was Steven. He has now went to better positions but he left the store in the best of Hands. I feel secure coming to that location where the he is there or not but God knows I love to see Steven sent from the customer service Gods themselves. He is the Thor of customer service. The team at that location is the Avengers! They are all my super heroes. Keeping me moving when my business is based out of my car daily.

This was the 1st time I took my car there. This will be where I take my vehicle every time. I called them in the morning and told them the issue, they told me to bring it in, and I was ready by the end of the day. They fixed the issue and looked over my entire vehicle for any other issues. There were a couple other issues but they didn't try to pressure me into getting more work done. They were incredibly knowledge about everything and explained everything they did in detail. They have a new customer in me! I recommend this place to everybody.

Great service and great location. How many locally owned shops have loaner cars? These guys make it so easy. Hadn’t been there in 2 years since I had free oil changes on a new car. Needed tires and was quoted by Mike the owner. Zander took over from there. A loaner was given so I didn’t have to kill my day. And 2 years later all of the same guys are still running the place!

We had a pleasure with working with the great team at Carfix. They broke down what was needed to be done for our Vehicle based on severity, routine maintenance and add pictures depending on what was wrong. They also break the bill down very clearly and you get to choose what service you would like done and not. Very reasonable price's no bullshit charges. They had to get many parts for our Vehicle and they were very quick and responsive on what they needed to get and how long it will take (which was fairly quickly). We will be taking all of our vehicle's to this location for any issues and routine maintenance.

While traveling to Raleigh last week my left front tire picked up a large bolt. I called, explained my situation and Elliot said, Bring it on over, we'll take care of you.We've been a customer of Carfix for at least 15+ years. What an amazing experience. I was passing thru Raleigh and had a tire blow out when I hit a pothole in the rain. I learned about CARFIX from AAA many years ago. I didn't use they at the time because it didn't seem convenient, but I kept hearing good things about them. I recently received unprofessional service at another mechanic shop and was in need of a more reputable shop. I went to CARFIX and spoke with Zander. He talked to me and let me tour the shop and showed me how the shop and good family values were a great mix. I took Mercedes to them recently for a routine oil change and after they performed a great inspection they found many safety issues that my previous shop wasn't finding. They do great work and I will be with them for a long time. I trust them and they're values. I highly recommend this shop.

He sent Larry out to add air in my tire so then I could follow Larry to the shop for the repair. Both Zander and Larry were huge in saving me a ton of aggregation this morning. Even though I only had the inspection done today and received diagnostics report, I Do want to point out that through every part of the service i was impressed. They truly go above the standard of service. The front desk was very respectful. They were not pushy and explained in detail everything that they found on the vehicle and prioritized safety concerns. I can't speak highly enough about this business and the people. I was visiting from out of state (transporting a group of students for college visits) and my car breaks down. They we already swamped but took the time to really look at what all was wrong so they could tell me whether it could get fixed right away. At first they did not think they could fix it by closing time on Friday. Since they're closed Saturday and Sunday, that meant I would have to rent a car to travel back home on Sunday, then find a way to get my car Monday after it was fixed. It was just a mess. These people were so nice, that MADE it work. They fixed my car right then and really took good care of me. I can't recommend CAR FIX enough!

My wife ‘s car died on her way to work. After dealing With being stuck in rush hour traffic and getting a tow. Called here and asked if they'd be able to take a look at some tires on a vehicle I was considering buying.15 minutes later I pulled up and Zander came out with a little tire gauge and some dad jokes. Ivan was friendly and explained the North Carolina State inspection process to me. They did my oil change in a reasonable amount of time, and pointed our something on my car to keep an eye on. I just want to say that Carfix is the kind of Auto Shop I've been searching for, for a very long time. My car's transmission broke down and this was the only shop that could fit me in for a diagnostic and repair. The level of attention and customer service here is top notch compared to any other shop I called trying to get help.I had the pleasure of working with Damian and Xander (I think that's how you spell his name). Both talked to me like I was a long lost family member. If either were having a bad day, I never would have known.The staff here are all professional and informative. Not only do they tell you what's going on with your vehicle, they give you all the details you can handle, and then some. They don't pressure you or try to sell you on stuff you don't need at all and every suggestion is given in order of importance.10/10, I highly recommend. This will be where I go for all of my cars needs moving forward.

They did a great job at taking pictures, sharing them and sending me the inspection report.My only issue was that I was never called when the vehicle was done. I showed up before 5 to pick up my vehicle ( they close at 5 pm), and no one told me it was done and was told there was an issue with my battery. Just had the battery checked it was fine so surprised it showed up bad. Also, they took the coupon and thankful for that. They did great and fast work. I dropped it off and within the hour they already had it diagnosed and ready to be fixed. It was fixed the same day and the rep there was really cool. I'd give it 4 stars cuz of the price but seems unfair as they are transparent about the cost and won't continue work without your approval. So, it's on you if you want to spend it. It was about a bit more than almost any shop would've charged but they have coupons and vouchers that help. So it's kind of a trade off, you'll pay more but you absolutely get quality work and fast. 9 out of 10 ten times paying more for faster work is worth it. Some places have your car for days on simple jobs. I also like that they didn't upsell me on anything. Just what it needed and that was it. I'd likely come back and maybe even this week for the other car.

I’ve used this shop for my 12 year old Acura twice now. Both times the service has been excellent and I got a clear breakdown of estimated costs. I believe they are not the cheapest option, but their quality is high and the repairs are guaranteed for 5 years. I was able to drop off my car and leave it for the workday to get an oil change. There is a very friendly customer care employee at the front of the store, and their oil change is very well priced and gives much more mileage than I expected it to. In addition they conducted a huge inspection of my vehicle that I didn’t expect and they let me know a lot of information about it that I otherwise wouldn’t have known. I can't address any negative reviews (and it tends to be negative reviews that get written and aren't necessarily representative of a business's actual quality of service, etc.), but I have nothing but very good things to say about this car repair shop. I worked with Zander at its Raleigh location near Glenwood South and he was extraordinarily friendly, generous, and gave more than the usually expected time to answer all my questions and then some. I took my VW Passat in to Carfix to get a second opinion about a suggested major repair from another car repair shop. Not only was getting this second opinion from Carfix free, Zander actually allowed me to look at the bottom of my Passat with him as he very patiently and carefully explained why it did NOT need the suggested car repair that I initially got from the other car repair shop. That speaks for Carfix's transparency and looking out for the long-term interest of its customers, as well as its interest in building a good and caring relationship long-term with the latter. On August 25th, I accidentally ran over a curb in my Kia Sportage and caused the undercarriage cover to fall down underneath the car and drag on the highway. Carfix was the closest place I came to that I thought might be able to help me. I was also on my way to a funeral and was worried that I would not be able to go because of what I had done to my car. I was pretty upset when I approached the lady behind the counter and explained what happened. Heather addressed me with a calm demeanor and found a technician who immediately took a look at my car. Her immediate attention went a long way in calming me down. Even though they could not repair my car, they were able to reattach the undercarriage cover so that I could make it to the funeral. My son was wrapping up finals at NC State, and I was flying in from Pittsburgh to help him move out when he noticed a bubble in the sidewall of a tire. Carfix was able to squeeze us in, replace the tire and didn't overcharge (actually the price I was charged was less than I had anticipated!)
