Great group of guys that work at the Hillsborough location in Raleigh. They are very professional and precise with their work and with customers. I give them a 10/10 and I will definitely do business with them again in the future. I went in for front brakes and rotors on my dodge durango and the did an amazing job. They're parts are far better than the one's I recently had from the dealership and they come with a great warranty.

I first came to the Hillsborough Street location of Car Fix for a smog check, years ago. Of course, the technician reviewed the condition of my car and observed a few things that needed attention, nothing I didn't already know and was already feeling guilty about. I authorized the work. I was impressed by the service advisor and the technician, impressed enough to come back for additional work. My Subaru is fifteen years old - for the past six years, the Car Fix team has kept my car in good condition. At the dealership, I felt taken for granted and did not enjoy their up-selling. When I am at Car Fix, I feel listened to. The service advisors and the technicians take the time to explain. My car runs great and I feel like a valued customer.

John was very helpful in getting my vehicle serviced. He is friendly and efficient. Got me checked in and on my way quickly. He called to let me know I needed new wipers and the vehicle was ready when promised. I think this is my 17 year using their service. Never been disappointed.

Tim is the friendliest and most knowledgeable car guy I’ve been around!! He’s incredibly helpful and CarFix Tire and Auto as a whole does incredible work. I continue to come back again and again for about 4-5 years now and they impress me more and more with their speed, efficiency, and customer service every time.

I cannot say enough positive things about Carfix. My son and I have worked with them on a couple of occasions regarding repairs to his truck. My wife and I live outside the area and it can be stressful if you have kids who are away at school and encounter vehicle issues. The folks at Carfix, first Elliott and now Tim, have been so great!! They send pictures, thoroughly explain the issues, and seem very fair with their pricing and recommendations. For parents in particular, who are looking for a place that is reliable and trustworthy to help with out-of-town car service, look no further than Carfix!

Carfix is my go-to place. I used to go to the dealership. After a full check-up over a year ago, things went wrong the following week which didn't feel right. Then I found Carfix. They have helped me a number of times since I abandoned the dealership. They could not be better. Everyone is so kind. Service is incredibly efficient. Prices are very fair. Carfix is an Excellent shop! John has been incredible, the work has been excellent. I have fully become a repeat customer (tho I hope I don’t have to see them That often- no offense lol!). I don’t have another vehicle and they have been able to fit me in and get me back on the road quickly with exceptional work at an excellent price. That is including an electrical repair others had turned me away unable to fix, Carfix got it done. Everyone is always so professional and nice that I encounter, as a female I appreciate more than you know! I can’t recommend enough.

I have been using Carfix at Garner for about 16 years and they are the best. They never try to oversell services. They will let you know what service is appropriate. Dave, John and Kyle assisted me with my recent inspection and service. All three were professional and knowledgeable. The customer area is neat and clean. Everyone at Carfix was professional and polite. They listened to my concerns and worked with me to use coupons and discount. One issue was having an appointment for 1:00 but car not being seen until almost 5 requiring it to held overnight. I expected to wait but not 4 hrs for an evaluation of A/C. I was told they were busy, then what is the value of a scheduled time. Also they do quality work however it is expensive, on the top end of normal range.

I've taken my car to Carfix three times now, and I have been nothing but thrilled with their service, their professionalism and their customer service. Most recently, we had the car towed there after it refused to shift out of second gear. Fearing the worst, we waited to hear from them. Rather than the entire transmission, it was a solenoid that had given out. We were quote just shy of $800 and approved the repair. In a best-possible-case scenario, the final bill was just shy of $600. They found that they didn't have to replace the wiring harness but could just repair the existing one, which saved us 25%.

Worked with Kyle, super helpful and informative guy. This is one of the only auto shops that does not diagnose/do work without being 100% sure of the issue, so they saved me thousands of bucks. Will definitely be going back.

First time going there. So glad I found the place. Compared to where I was taking my car to, this place is better! They called me an Uber to get home at their expense. Very impressive. Best oil change price in Raleigh! My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Carfix Auto Repair. We have an extended warranty on our personal vehicle but didn't have to call and ask whats covered and whats not since Carfix took care of it. Our specialist, Elliot was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I appreciated that he took photos of any issues that need to be addressed, provided a quick educational video explaining what the part is and how its affecting the vehicle and drive, then took time to answer all questions we had.
