CARFIX continues to provide excellent service! I called ahead to ask about a replacement battery (while I waited for AAA to jump the car). By the time I got to them, they had already ordered the battery needed. It arrived 10 minutes after I did. I was out the door within 30 minutes!Super nice guys. Great service.

Called here and asked if they'd be able to take a look at some tires on a vehicle I was considering buying.15 minutes later I pulled up and Zander came out with a little tire gauge and some dad jokes. He checked out the tires, gave me some great info, and off I went.I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to buying tires but when I do I'll make sure to get them here!

I'm new to the area and need a place to I can trust my car to forauto repairs. Based on reviews and location, CarFix was first on my list. Ivan was friendly and explained the North Carolina State inspection process to me. They did my oil change in a reasonable amount of time, and pointed our something on my car to keep an eye on. Zero pressure to upsell sell me on things I know I don't need. They are off to a great start in making me a regular customer.

I just want to say that Carfix is the kind of Auto Shop I've been searching for, for a very long time. My car's transmission broke down and this was the only shop that could fit me in for a diagnostic and repair. The level of attention and customer service here is top notch compared to any other shop I called trying to get help.I had the pleasure of working with Damian and Xander (I think that's how you spell his name). Both talked to me like I was a long lost family member. If either were having a bad day, I never would have known.The staff here are all professional and informative. Not only do they tell you what's going on with your vehicle, they give you all the details you can handle, and then some. They don't pressure you or try to sell you on stuff you don't need at all and every suggestion is given in order of importance.10/10, I highly recommend. This will be where I go for all of my cars needs moving forward.

For my first time going to this location, I was extremely satisfied with the work done on my vehicle. Ivan was very professional and helped me with every question I had. My car had ended up staying longer than I anticipated, but Ivan helped out with a courtesy vehicle so that I wouldn’t miss work. He did an outstanding job and his customer service was incredible. If I could give him a 10 star rating I would.

I called and was greatly surprised and blessed that they were able to fit me in. They did a great job at taking pictures, sharing them and sending me the inspection report.My only issue was that I was never called when the vehicle was done. I showed up before 5 to pick up my vehicle ( they close at 5 pm), and no one told me it was done and was told there was an issue with my battery. Just had the battery checked it was fine so surprised it showed up bad. Also, they took the coupon and thankful for that. The gentleman ( at the front) Mr. Garcia was very nice and kind when I was fussing about not being called to pick up. Overall worth returning for more work.

Great customer service ! I brought my car in late afternoon and I had diagnostic results by end of day . They had me in a courtesy car that day, which was a huge deal for me . Will definitely use them for all my car needs .

They did great and fast work. I dropped it off and within the hour they already had it diagnosed and ready to be fixed. It was fixed the same day and the rep there was really cool. I'd give it 4 stars cuz of the price but seems unfair as they are transparent about the cost and won't continue work without your approval. So, it's on you if you want to spend it. It was about a bit more than almost any shop would've charged but they have coupons and vouchers that help. So it's kind of a trade off, you'll pay more but you absolutely get quality work and fast. 9 out of 10 ten times paying more for faster work is worth it. Some places have your car for days on simple jobs. I also like that they didn't upsell me on anything. Just what it needed and that was it. I'd likely come back and maybe even this week for the other car.

I came in to address a leak in my car and was immediately helped by Steve at the front desk. Not only did he understand my worries but also worked with a sense of urgency to review my cars status. He was more than friendly and certainly put my worries to ease. This is an excellent mechanic shop and I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice people! Very fair. I forgot the name of the guy who helped me but he is a read head. Pretty cool guy! They also have a ride share program and they saved me about 30-50 dollars in Uber rides while they fixed my car. They also show proof of what’s wrong with your car with pictures so you don’t feel like you are getting screwed.

I’ve used this shop for my 12 year old Acura twice now. Both times the service has been excellent and I got a clear breakdown of estimated costs. I believe they are not the cheapest option, but their quality is high and the repairs are guaranteed for 5 years. It’s less expensive than the dealership, I get a much faster turnaround, and they are very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

I was able to drop off my car and leave it for the workday to get an oil change. There is a very friendly customer care employee at the front of the store, and their oil change is very well priced and gives much more mileage than I expected it to. In addition they conducted a huge inspection of my vehicle that I didn’t expect and they let me know a lot of information about it that I otherwise wouldn’t have known. I wrote so much that it feels like this could be seen as a Chat-GPT article but I’m real and I will definitely be switching this shop to my main car repair service center for the friendliness, convenience, and service I got here.

I had found this during my visit to Raleigh after 3 other places were not able to help. I had to fix up my brakes and make back to base before curfew. Not only did these men help me but they were quick, thourough, and easy to communicate and interact with. Also on top of that, they didnt even charge me. All in all, was treated well. Have been to this site several times. One of the office guys recognizes me and knows my name. I was disappointed after this trip/repair when I got home and my receipt was not detailed at all. No price for what things cost, no hourly rate. When I have something done, I like to see the expenses spelled out.

I went here a week ago after booking a next day appointment online about my ac being broken and the man at the front desk was polite and helpful.In a couple hours they had diagnosed my car and told me the costs and it was a clear cut process and their was no pressure.After agreeing on the price I was told my car would be ready to go the next morning and guess what,I got a call in the morning and it was ready to go WITH working AC!! This shop is the best. I was having car trouble, I called they told me to bring it in and they would check it out for free. I’m a few hrs they called me and told me the problem and hopped right on it. Now the car runs great and no troubles. Will be using this shop as my go to from now on. I had a wonderful experience at CarFix on Hillsborough Street. I went in for new brake pads and a state inspection. They were able to fit me in the same day - they dropped me off at my house while my car was being worked on, and picked me up when the car was ready! Zander is the ONLY REASON I would recommend anyone come to this location.The other guys are also very respectful. But I had the unfortunate opportunity to meet the one apple that will spoil a bunch !!! I don't even know his name BUT HE WAS RUDE AND INSULTING. I love Carfix !! But that guy makes all the staff's hard work go into the toilet with his Hateful Attitude. In my experience Carfix on Hillsborough in Raleigh is doing a great job. I was able to get an appointment for an oil change on short notice. The staff were friendly and efficient. Took my car to Carfix Auto Repair to get an oil change and to use the coupon I received in the mail. I had a great experience overall!The team completed my oil change and a check up on my car as well and found out I also needed to replace my trans mount. They provided me with a loaner car until my car was fix which was also a Plus. Thank you Zander for your wonderful customer service as well as the other team members that I made contact with. It has been 15 years, and they they still take great care of our vehicles and all my family. I feel safer knowing they are keeping my older vehicles in top condition and for a very fair price. Their warranties, and more so their personal guarantees, mean the world to us. Thank you all at CarFix. I think there are three locations in the Raleigh area? We use the Garner location at I-40 & Hwy 42.CarFix is the BEST and here is why. As a retired Soldier and investigator I have lived and traveled all over the country. I have owned a lot of new and used cars. One thing I have learned over the past 38 years is there are a lot of bad people out there who will not hesitate to rip you off and who do lousy work. Sometimes it takes a while to figure them out. CarFix is definitely NOT one of these places and I have been going to them for almost six years. They are honest, reliable, quick and reasonably priced. I travel for long periods of time I can count on Mike, Brian and "all" the others the guys at CarFix to take care of my family when I’m away. Truthfully, one time in 6 years I had an issue. Mike took care of that problem and retained my confidence and business. That is why I gave them a FIVE star rating.I’m here again. Great tire selection.for my Ram, the Michelin Defender. I will never take my car anywhere else. I brought my car in after hearing noises/ having issues with my brakes. I have never experienced such levels of customer care and communication, they gave me peace of mind while making sure I was totally informed. I can't address any negative reviews (and it tends to be negative reviews that get written and aren't necessarily representative of a business's actual quality of service, etc.), but I have nothing but very good things to say about this car repair shop. I worked with Zander at its Raleigh location near Glenwood South and he was extraordinarily friendly, generous, and gave more than the usually expected time to answer all my questions and then some. I took my VW Passat in to Carfix to get a second opinion about a suggested major repair from another car repair shop. Not only was getting this second opinion from Carfix free, Zander actually allowed me to look at the bottom of my Passat with him as he very patiently and carefully explained why it did NOT need the suggested car repair that I initially got from the other car repair shop. That speaks for Carfix's transparency and looking out for the long-term interest of its customers, as well as its interest in building a good and caring relationship long-term with the latter. I will definitely be taking my car in the future back there for any future repairs because I know I will be treated fairly and generously. Thanks, Zander, and COYS!!!

Highly Recommend! I was recently passing through Raleigh and hit some debris on the interstate. Frantically calling numerous places for help- I came across Carfix and spoke to Heather. Unfortunately she could not help me at her location, so she gave me the number to the sister location where I was able to get excellent customer service from Zander. Located on West street near downtown, this was a safe location with restaurants within walking distance. (even though Zander offered to drive me) Zander went above and beyond to make this experience as painless as possible. Fortunately they were able to make some repairs to my car in only a couple hours and I was back on my way. On August 25th, I accidentally ran over a curb in my Kia Sportage and caused the undercarriage cover to fall down underneath the car and drag on the highway. Carfix was the closest place I came to that I thought might be able to help me. I was also on my way to a funeral and was worried that I would not be able to go because of what I had done to my car. I was pretty upset when I approached the lady behind the counter and explained what happened. Heather addressed me with a calm demeanor and found a technician who immediately took a look at my car. Her immediate attention went a long way in calming me down. Even though they could not repair my car, they were able to reattach the undercarriage cover so that I could make it to the funeral. I highly recommend Carfix!

I Thought the "Initial Testing & Inspections" Rate was a bit Expensive; However, I Do Feel that it is Justified if Doing an Overall Detailed Analysis of the Vehicle. I'm a Man that Likes to Know if Any Other Problems Exist with My Vehicles and Appreciate Any Findings Ahead of Potential Breakdowns. From the moment I called to set up an appointment I was greeted with nothing but kindness! I couldn't be happier with the service Carfix gave me. I was in a real jam. My son was wrapping up finals at NC State, and I was flying in from Pittsburgh to help him move out when he noticed a bubble in the sidewall of a tire. Carfix was able to squeeze us in, replace the tire and didn't overcharge (actually the price I was charged was less than I had anticipated!) And the customer service from Ivan (a long-distance Steelers yinzer!!!) was fantastic! Carfix should be proud of the way their business operates.

Had a great experience! I called after noticing the fender liner on the front passenger wheel was a few inches off the ground. Expecting a need to replace the linear, CarFix inspected the liner and replaced a few clips. I appreciate the honesty and repairing the part at a minimal cost. I'm so happy I found carfix. I needed 2 rear tires and they was able to get them in a reasonable time. Other places I called was taking to long to deliver or couldn't get the tires period. Elliott took care of everything i needed. Tires was delivered in 2 days after ordering them and the work along with one other issue i had was all taken care of the same day. I brought my car into Carfix because it was making a noise it should not be making and I had a long trip planned. I took it into Mike, Jimmy and the team on Hillsborough St. Within minutes, they had diagnosed the problem as the water pump. I scheduled an appointment to bring it back in and get the water pump replaced. The day I brought it in, they gave me a loaner car so I could continue doing business for the day. Jimmy and Richard did an amazing job helping me make a decision about buying a used car. Had a laundry list of things to be done to my car coming out of the pandemic and driving more - really expected a scary price for the A/C diagnostics and looking at the ABS brakes - but walked out of there with everything all fixed up for not a big price tag. Roger there talked me through everything and was kind to spend an extra minute talking. Not much for reviewing things online but was a nice surprise all around today.
